Company Dance Opportunities
Garth Fagan Dance does not currently have any open company dancer positions. Our upcoming auditions are now at capacity, and we are not accepting additional applicants for this audition period.
However, dancers who are interested in future opportunities with the company are strongly encouraged to submit their materials. Garth Fagan Dance reviews prospective dancers on an ongoing basis and may contact qualified applicants when positions or audition opportunities become available.
We are particularly interested in dancers with strong musicality, impressive jumps, a wide range of dynamics, turns—including single-leg turns and chainées—and experience with floorwork. Submitted footage should clearly demonstrate the dancer’s technique, movement quality, musicality, and range. At least one section of the video should show the dancer performing barefoot.
Company positions are based in Rochester, New York, and typically require relocation and a minimum two-year commitment. Dancers should be prepared to work in a professional company environment and engage deeply with the Fagan Technique™ and the company’s repertory.

Garth Fagan Dance is excited to announce internship opportunities, college/university internship program preferred. Internship positions will be paid $20 per hour rate and students may receive college credit for their time. Students who dance may also have access to free classes to compensate for their efforts.
We are seeking 1-2 interns to work with us during each semester. Internship hours are flexible and schedules can be determined by the needs of each student. Working In-Person is preferred.
