THE Garth Fagan dance legacy project

Garth Fagan Dance - Five Decades of Movement, Art, and Legacy.png

Dear Garth Fagan Dance Family,

What started as a group of untrained young dancers in Rochester, performing under the name "Bottom of the Bucket, BUT…," became The Bucket Dance Theatre and, in time, Garth Fagan Dance.

Fifty-five years of artistic excellence built on grit, discipline, a belief in what talent could become, and the recurring mantra, Discipline is Freedom. The legacy of struggle, survival, and international fame has never been fully told. This book needs your help telling it.

A book like this is only as rich as the voices in it. That's why we're reaching out to you, the Garth Fagan Dance family, to ask for your memories, reflections, and photographs.

Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire that applies to you below. There are no required questions — share as much or as little as feels right.
